A youth mental health and well-being initiative

Beginning October 10, 2023

#CreateConnectCare invites young people, ages 11- 18, to raise awareness of mental health issues, promote mental well-being, and help turn the tide against the mental health stigma through creative expression such as art, film, poetry, dance, music, or photography.

Amplifying youth voices on mental health and well-being is vital to breaking the stigma.

Promoting the importance of self-care, seeking help when needed, and connecting with and caring for others who need support.

Wesley's Short Film

Young Changemaker Wesley was inspired by his love of film and his mental health journey to change the narrative surrounding mental health. His work inspires others to rise up from their own circumstances to find a place of peace.

How to participate

Submissions begin October 10, 2023

There are many ways to participate in #CreateConnectCare. You can:

  • Create a piece of art or write about your experience with mental health.
  • Make a video or podcast about mental health.
  • Organize an event or campaign to raise awareness about mental health.
  • Share your story on social media using the hashtag #CreateConnectCare.
